PCOS, Hormones, and Your Health Journey: Why Action Creates Change

Yesterday my husband and I celebrated his birthday by “shooting the hooch”—floating down the Chattahoochee River. Kyle loved it; I… had mixed feelings.

I’m a sun-and-water kind of gal, but as we drifted along at a snail’s pace, I noticed a few things:

  • The water was brown.

  • There weren’t enough rapids.

Then we hit the rapids. Everything changed. The water sparkled, the current picked up, and it felt alive.

That’s when it hit me: stagnant water isn’t appealing, but once it’s in motion, it becomes lifegiving.

Where Are You Stuck?

Maybe you want to change your lifestyle, but after two weeks of gluten-free, dairy-free, or daily workouts, you slide back into old habits.

Maybe you follow tons of PCOS or hormone health accounts but feel overwhelmed and unable to implement any of it.

That’s what stagnancy feels like: stuck water. No matter how badly you want the current to change, nothing moves.

Here’s the truth: action creates clarity, and movement creates momentum.

My Journey From Stuck to Momentum

Before I invested in coaching for my own frustrating health symptoms, I was:

  • Stuck in a job I hated

  • Lonely

  • Ghosted by a boy who blamed COVID for not texting back

  • Living in fear of food and symptoms that wouldn’t budge

Investing in my health was terrifying. But it created momentum—and everything shifted.

  • 3 months later: I transformed my body and my mind.

  • 6 months later: I met my husband.

  • 9 months later: I found my new best friends and church community.

  • 1 year later: I quit my miserable job.

Was all of that because of coaching? Not directly. But I credit it to creating momentum—and momentum changed everything.

How Momentum Can Change Your Health Journey

If you’re dealing with PCOS, hormonal imbalances, or stuck health habits, creating small, consistent actions can:

  • Reduce symptoms of PCOS and hormonal imbalance

  • Improve your relationship with food

  • Give you clarity and confidence in your health choices

  • Set off a ripple effect that changes other areas of your life

Movement, both literally and metaphorically, is lifegiving.

Your Invitation

Are you feeling stuck? I can’t promise you’ll meet your husband or make new best friends—but I can promise that creating momentum will give you clarity, energy, and confidence in your health journey.
